1. I LOVE BYU-Idaho!!!So
I don't think I can say that enough! I love BYU-Idaho! I love the teachers! I love the students! I love the atmosphere! I love the learning! I love it!
2. I'm so excited to be a teacher!
I think going right along with loving BYU-Idaho is the fact that I'm so excited to be a teacher. I think being in school, and actually learning the techniques of being a teacher really has shown me that I want to be a teacher! I'm just so excited to actually be in a school, and teach.
3. I'm not a huge fan of Rexburg.
So Rexburg... haha. I think we have a love hate relationship. It's cute. It's small. It's cold. It's Rexburg. Well I think it's more of a my school of choice is there so I think I'll stand you because I love the school.
4. Roommates are key!
Roommates! Another one of those things that is a love hate thing you know. You love them. You hate them. Then you love them again. I think I have had everything this year when it came to roommates. I have had the quite the social the geeky the awesome the fun the not so fun. The one thing that I have noticed is they just haven't been the like the roommates in Provo. I miss those girls!
5. The Library is Key
HAHA me the library sometimes I spend way too much time there and sometimes not enough. That is what I learned that the library is really a fun place. I just need to have the motivation to get there.
6. Working full time going to full time not such a good idea.
When I moved to Rexburg I had a great job... but that didn't last long. Let me tell you why full time work and full time school not a good idea. It was a great job, but this is the first time in 3 years I have not worked full time and I love it!
7. You only live once.
I think I have always know this, but I'm living it now. I had a friend tell me the other day that she loves how I just go for it. I decided this year to just go work for Disney. I decided to just quit my job. I decided to just leave Provo and go to school in the frozen tundra. You only live once, so why not just do you want at least you will be happy.
8. The best thing in the world is progressing.
So the big thing that brought me to the frozen tundra was progression. I just felt like I wasn't progressing in life. I decided to pray about it, and guess what I'm progressing now. Probably not as much as I want to, but I have goals to help with that. I love moving forward! I don't know everything that is on the path, but I do know that I'm going on the path and I'm moving forward. I love that!
9. Rexburg pedestrians are not the brightest
enough said. I hit one the first day of fall semester. I got frustrated with them on daily. They just aren't the brightest.
10. The difference between want and need.
I think for a long I have really wanted certain things, so I thought of them as a need. Now I think that has changed. I think about the stuff I thought I needed, but I'm good. My Dad kept asking me what I want, and I kept say I don't need anything. I'm good. I think my perspective has changed. I don't need what I want anymore.
Well there is my list. One year down, and I'm super excited for the next year. I'll hopefully keep you a little more updated, because next year will be a lot more fun.
