Have you ever felt like your just living for the weekend?
Well it seems like have I caught that sickness. What is so wrong with the week? It is the bulk of our lives, and I know I'm not the only who just wants the weekend to come. Sure a lot great stuff happens on the weekend. Examples sleeping in, do nothing all day, church, travel, not driving 45 minutes one way, grocery shopping, hanging out, etc.
SO idea...
How can we make our weeks more like our weekends? Well the reason why I like my weekends is because i get out of my everyday routine and get into my every weekend routine which i don't do that often. WELL what if I do somethings that I enjoy doing on the weekends during the week? For example I love grocery shopping. I know weird well I think its because I like shopping, but never the less why don't I shop on like Tuesday? OR have a game night on Thursday. OR Have people over for dinner on Wednesday?ALSO choose a time to get up everyday so then you never sleep in, and you get more out of your day. I don't know why this bothers me so much. I know that there are people out there who don't have this problem because they are already doing this. But right now my life is get up go to work get home from work and sit there.
That's life in the frozen tundra.
My goal is to change how I look at my week, and be excited for the week.
Maybe I'll make this a weekly event and call it Jamie's Tips. Everyone needs to know how to survive the frozen tundra, so I'll tell you my tips and what I've learned.
Jamie's Tip #1
Be excited for your week not just you weekends.
I must not forget
Day 16 A picture of someone who inspires you.
This is the pioneer woman. And she is amazing. I think she is very much experienced what I want to experience. She has done the whole big city and cooperate job, and now she lives in the middle of no where and raises her four kids. I very much love where I came from, maybe not the city its self but the life style. I look back and now know that i wouldn't not be the type of person that i am if i didn't grow up on a farm. I learned a lot from the farm. But I went to the big city and LOVED IT!! I think about it everyday. How I want to be surrounded by people and malls and IHOP... but I'm not. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to IHOP. The pioneer woman has some how combined her two worlds and makes this amazing life that some how some way I want. I want the big city but with country feel. She is an amazing cook, she home schools her children (not that I would want to do that but props to her), she blogs, she is a photographer. She inspires me to do better in everything that I do. I do have one more inspiring person ... I think she says it best. If she can go through life and have the perspective that she dose then why can't I. One of my many goals in life is to be like these woman.
