So for the surviving the frozen tundra side of things. I have learned a few things
1. The snow here is very fluffy and sticky
2. I have learned that if you are stuck just put some cat litter under the tires like magic you can get out from a parking spot that is covered with solid ice. (Thanks Mom) ohh and who knows how long the ice has been there because it is so stinking cold that it never melts.
3. Snow Plows are non-existent here. BOOOOO BOOOOO BOOOO not very happy about that.
4. While driving to work today I realized hey everyone has a truck... yeah so they can get out anything without a problem.
5. I happy just sitting in my house with five layers and a coat on for hours.
6. six blankets and a hoodie sweater is just enough to keep me warm at night.
7. Boots are not an option no matter how ugly you think boots are.
I'll end there.
So this last week it has snowed three times. The first one wasn't so bad because Mark my roommates boyfriend cleaned off our cars for us. How nice right. BUT it just started to get worst I had to clean my car off the next time and I don't have anything to do that with so I used what Heavenly Father gave me (my hand/arm, and a piece of paper). It really wasn't that bad. The most awful experience ended with me calling my mom and her telling me to put cat litter under my tires because i had been spinning my tires for 25 mins. Let me tell you burning tires is not a pleasant smell.
Not to end on a bad note so other things I have learned about the frozen tundra
1. My roommate is AWESOME!!!
2. I LOVE my job!!!
3. Having dinner at Amiee's house is so much fun and everyone should do it. You get real food which I don't really get to have very often. You play with two really cute kinds and you get to hang out with Amiee.
4. BYU-I is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to start. Can I just start now please?...
5. Even though I don't get to see Kass and Lor everyday. I get to call them (sorry if I call too much) ALL THE TIME! Love It!!!
SO all in all it equals out right?... HECK YES!!!!
Yay for the frozen tundra! It's awesome! :)
